Émaux de Longwy Dish – cloisonné technique

A unique dish with decorative handles by the prestigious manufacturer Émaux de Longwy – founded in 1798 in Longwy (Lorraine, France). One of the most valued and recognizable French ceramic manufacturers, famous for its unique cloisonné enamel technique.

The item is made using the characteristic cloisonné technique (cellular enamel) with an intense turquoise background and a rich, hand-painted floral motif – lotuses, peonies, and leaves in shades of pink, green, and yellow with gold outlines. In the central medallion, against a cream craquelure glaze, there is an elegant scene with birds and flowers in the Far Eastern style. On the bottom, the signature "Peint à la Main / Émaux Longwy" with the manufacturer's coat of arms. Pattern number: 5610.
