Ceramic sugar bowl Robert Picault – Vallauris, mid-century modern
Robert Picault ceramic sugar bowl – Vallauris
A unique sugar bowl with a lid by Robert Picault (1919–2000) – one of the most highly regarded ceramists from Vallauris in southern France. The artist's distinctive signature "RP" is visible on the bottom, confirming the authenticity of the work.
Robert Picault was a close collaborator of Pablo Picasso and an icon of post-war artistic ceramics. His works are distinguished by a unique style: geometric patterns, spirals carved in clay, and a characteristic colour palette – green, white, and natural terracotta beige.
